Following our presentation at last years AGM MDMC are now pleased to announce that we have now secured the use of a new boating facility for use by MDMC members who have an interest in RC boats.
The facility is located at Kirby Bellars just off the A607 Leicester Road. The entrance to the site is sign posted as “3 Main Road” and is on the right hand side as you drive through Kirby Bellars, heading towards Melton Mowbray:-
MDMC Members who wish to use the facility will enjoy unlimited and unrestricted access, 7 days a week, 365 days a year from 1st May 2023 to 30th April 2024 however a small annual supplement of £30 per annum will be payable to secure use. Access will be via key coded lock and a key fob, together with access code, will be issued upon payment of the additional fee.
Access prior to the 1st May will still be possible but by prior arrangement with the owner.
Members should also note that there will be no restrictions on use of IC models however the usual noise restrictions must be observed (i.e. BMFA limits no more than 82 dB(A) at 7 metres)
