After many weeks of very hot, dry and calm weather, the weekend resulting in Saturday being very windy, with wind speeds in excess of 35mph at times – but at least it was warm and sunny. Sunday was different! – very wet and windy, so indoor activities only, unfortunately.

Many thanks go to Chris Savidge, our chairman, who organised the event again, and (amongst many other helpers), Mark Taylor, our Show Director, and Simon Askew, who did a sterling job all day Saturday informing the public of the details of each model flying.

Thanks must also go the all the pilots who braved the very windy conditions to put on a superb flying display for the many spectators – well done!
