Trevor Main’s 80inch span Gloster Sea Gladiator

FPV video of Trevor Main’s stunning 80″ Gloster Sea Gladiator, flying at BMFA Buckminter.

The model is 1/5th scale, weighing 23lbs in the air and was scratch built by Trevor from enlarged Brian Taylor plans.

The model is electric powered by an AXI 5360 95kv motor, YEP 120 amp ESC and 12s-5,800mah battery combination. Spinning a Vario 26″ x 16″ prop, the model is easily capable of 10 minute plus flights.

Pete Duckworth’s Fokker D8

May 2020 – back in the skies after a long lockdown due to the pandemic – Pete Duckworth recently completed his first flight of his fantastic Fokker 1/4 scale D8 (built from a kit).

Alan Frew’s Boomerang

Sept 2019 – Alan Frew’s beautiful Boomerang jet carving up the sky at the airfield – this is the second flight when, unfortunately, one of the main gear wheels fell off after take-off, resulting in a difficult, but very skillful belly landing on the grass area without too much damage (thankfully). Well done Alan!
