The task for this round was “Flag Drop” where the competitors had to do 5 touch and goes in the fastest possible time with points for precision landing. A combination of pylon race turns with touch and go! Again the weather was surprisingly good at the Old Dalby Flying site. One of our flyers (no names mentioned!) managed to stall a borrowed model into the ground destroying the under carriage for the precision landing bit of the competition!
Phil Curtis was the round winner but Mick Butler is still the series leader at 600 points. Still more to play for!
