Here is the run down from the big competition from our show weekend, the "Pork Pie Slot Rally".Did you manage to catch our Pork Pie slot car in action? Check out the video below!First up, the 'Fastest Lap' competition, for the public who were not entering the main event, with 3 cars up for grabs kindly provided by Scalextric; The winners were on Forest; Emily, Dakar; Stewart and Stadium; Will, the prizes are on their way!Also on Jurassic Park, the fastest time each day took home a knitted dinosaur, well done Dan & John!Onto the main event, with the 3rd place in each of the classes taking home a Bronze Pork Pie Trophy, congratulations to Chris S, Chris K and Richard.2nd place all received a body kit and and selection of spares kindly supplied by NSR - Factory, and of course a Silver Pie, well done, Jacob, Chris and Gareth.And 1st place, each won cars supplied by our friends at Slot.it company page, congratulations to our overall winners Jacob, and Gareth, who took home the win in two classes! What a show! Sun was shining all weekend, tonnes of fun activities and amazing displays to look at and watch! By our estimates, just over a thousand of you came along to support our modelling extravaganza, we really hope you enjoyed your weekend as much as we did!With thanks for all our brilliant guest exhibitors for putting on all those additional displays, we couldn't have done it without you.Special shoutout to all the pilots spending all their weekend putting on the flying displays, the field was always packed with smiling faces!And of courseLong Field Spencer Academyademy for letting us host our show with all their brilliant facilities.Finally, a big round of applause to all the volunteers, for helping setup, run the activities all day, the car park marshals and then everyone staying afterwards to help the cleardown.If you have any photos, please don't forget to tag us! ...
