After the success of our 60th Anniversary event, our annual model show is making a full return. We have secured the same location, Long Field Academy in Melton, and most importantly, its massive sports hall on the first weekend of August. This makes it possible to run a second “Pork Pie Slot Rally”, and we are looking to make this the best slot rally event yet!

All of our well regarded, fully themed and scenic tracks will be making a return, with added room for guest tracks and we are aiming to run at least unique 10 stages.

Our aim is to keep the racing close and competitive with the widest selection of available cars from differing manufacturers as possible.
For this event we have designed the rules be easily accessible for the beginner while still offering a challenge to the most experienced racers.
As such we have come up with three classes that shows the full range of performance and tuning that is available in the Slot Rally world;

“Production” Class
For near “Box Standard” cars with only basic race preparation and tuning allowed, as run in our current Rally Championship.

“Slot Rally GB” Class *
For modified cars that has a stricter set of replacement parts, to be in line with the current “Slot Rally GB” events.

“Open” Class
Free choice of car and components to allow for unlimited options for tuning and setup.

*To “Slot Rally GB” technical regulations but not Classes, ‘Targa Florio’ cars will not be eligible, see below for full Technical and SportingRegulations.

Limit of 3 Cars per Competitor, with a maximum of 2 cars per Class.
Entries are £4 per car, or £10 for 3.

First to Third in each of the four Classes will take home one our brilliant “Pork Pie” Trophies, in Gold, Silver or Bronze.

In the main three classes; ‘Production’, ‘Slot Rally GB’ and ‘Open’, each winner will also be awarded prizes courtesy of our friends at NSR.

Once again we will be running all of our fully scenic portable and Slot Rally tracks
Stages will be run across all available tracks, with multiple being run twice on different lanes, to make up 10 competition stages.
